Cameron Fairbairn is the CTO and Co-Founder of Proaxiom Cyber, where he leads the company’s technical strategy and delivery across a broad range of cybersecurity domains. With over two decades of experience, Cam works hands-on across both defensive and offensive operations – from penetration testing and adversary simulation to threat-informed architecture reviews, helping organizations identify and close security gaps before attackers can exploit them.

His background includes founding and scaling cybersecurity businesses globally, along with deep consulting experience across industries such as government, critical infrastructure, education, retail, and mining. Cam has held senior technical roles with firms like 8Bit Networks, Stratiform, and Husky Energy, and has designed and secured systems for clients including Shell Canada, Bell, and Data#3.
