Mark Woodhouse is the CEO and Cofounder of Proaxiom Cyber, where he leads the company’s mission to deliver secure, intelligent, and accessible digital solutions across Australia, New Zealand, and international markets. With over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity and enterprise software, Mark brings a unique blend of commercial leadership and deep technical understanding to his role.
Mark has extensive experience leading Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives, including successful delivery of high-profile ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 programs. He is also an accredited ASD Essential Eight auditor, helping clients implement practical, standards-aligned controls that strengthen cyber resilience and meet regulatory requirements.
Throughout his career, he has led complex digital transformation programs and built high-performing teams across sectors including government, education, infrastructure, and financial services. At Proaxiom, he focuses on aligning innovation with real-world resilience – helping organisations stay secure and competitive in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University of Wellington, with majors in Information Systems and e-Commerce. He is committed to values-led leadership and building trusted partnerships that create meaningful, measurable impact.
